Working with Brownings

Of all the rifles I have ever used . The ones that I enjoy the most are Browning rifles.Currently in the family we have two BAR’s, two BLR’s, one A-bolt, one Midas 20ga, one A5,

Tomorrow I will post up the range reports on the BAR chambered in 30-06 and the A-bolt chambered in 308. If I have time I will verify the zeros on the BLR’s. Being an ethical hunter I zero at 100 yards for confirmation and group patterns. I rarely take any deer or larger animals past 200 yards. That is my set limit. In the forests and woods it is more like 50 yards is a long shot..

Next week I will be posting up a video that will talk about stewardship and responsible fieldcraft. You will also see a proper base camp setting. Our contributing Field Reporter James from Joysey has offered to test the .375 against the 460 Weatherby magnum on penetration testing. And since he is from New Jersey he can afford the ammo.
